I’ve received a ton of e-mails in recent days asking about OPEC’s decision to cut oil production by 2 million bbl/day last week.
The mainstream and financial media will tell you that’s a “snub” or rebuke aimed at the US or represents a show of solidarity with Russia.
The truth is that narrative is a dangerous lie and the consensus media’s commentary on Saudi’s recent cut may be the most asinine take I’ve seen on energy in the past 21 years (and that’s saying a lot).
